Bluespot Furniture has acquired a 30,000 square foot base for their manufacturing operation. The new home for Bluespot Furniture is based in Dewsbury, Bretton Park. Along with the new territory comes extra space and with this space Bluespot said the manufacturing facility will enable it to install the most sophisticated machinery in panel processing.
Panel processing comes in several different shapes and sizes ranging from edbanders, line boring machines, bandsaws, bench grinders all the way to scoll saws and thicknesser planers (more info available on Wiki)
Director John Sumner said “The acquisition of Bretton Park has come at the right time for us”, “Having endured several tough years during the recession the business has turned a corner and sales are now up 40% year on year”, “The new site provides a much better manufacturing floor than our previous facility; we now have the space for the best machinery which will have a significant impact on our production. An additional benefit is that the new premises are only three miles from our old location so we have been able to retain all our staff.”
Bretton Park Industrial Estate is based on the outskirts of Dewsbury, West Yorkshire WF12 9BS.
