When your computer monitor is completely in the wrong position how annoying can it be? If you are constantly tilting your head to read the screen you are doing your neck and eyes no favours. Anyone who is working long term in this set up needs to get their ergonomics right.

There are many accessories for computer desks and computers in general including arms for screens which can sit above your office desk and be swiveled from left to right and tilted up and down during the day for comfort.

Ideally, you should be keeping your head and neck in a neutral position so you don’t strain your eyes.  Looking straight ahead at your screen is the perfect position. Computer keyboards are best as close to your lap as possible to avoid wrist strain and computer desks will often have a pull out tray to fit the keyboard in which is at the perfect level you should work.

You should respect your body and therefore the computer desk or office desk that you choose to work from every day should be as comfortable for you as possible.
