There are a few myths when it comes to working from a home office.
It is true that when you choose to set up a home office it can take some time to get used to. There are a few things that you can do to make the transition easier to deal with.
If you will be doing some form of telesales job at home, then scheduling in regular conference calls and meetings with clients and co-workers is essential. Most of the communication can probably be done on a daily basis from your office chair through various channels of communication; however, it is likely that once a month you will probably need to sit down with a client or co-worker(s) in your home office or around the office desk in a pre-booked meeting room to discuss matters.
A video cam is a great idea, enabling you to communicate from your office desk with anyone at any time.
Just because you work from a home office doesn’t mean that you can’t make good money.
When you are working from home you also have the chance to claim tax write-offs when it comes to items for your home office such as office furniture.
